Daniel N. Johnson, MD is an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in downtown Chicago. He is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and the subspecialty Cytopathology. He completed fellowships in Head & Neck (at Massachusetts General Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary) and Cytopathology (at the University of Chicago). Dr. Johnson is currently the Assistant Fellowship Director of the Cytopathology Fellowship at Northwestern. Clinically, he is a diagnostic cytopathologist and surgical pathologist with a subspecialty focus in Head & Neck and Endocrine Pathology and thoroughly enjoys thyroid and salivary gland cytology-histology correlations especially when supported by molecular pathology findings whenever possible.
